Route: Virgin of the Snows
Start the route in the upper resort of the Borreguiles gondola and run along the Borreguiles road, crossing several ski slopes, until you reach the monument to the Virgen de las Nieves monument, inaugurated in 1968, a few meters from the divide that limits the Natural Park with the Sierra Nevada National Park, leaving the nordestes (200m) the view of the astronomical observatory Mojón del Trigo.
The ascent slope – back to Borreguiles – is very gentle along the route (3%). This trail allows us to enjoy, in its initial stretch, the majestic landscape that the San Juan ravine provides us, in the heart of the National Park.
