The walk through some of the old cortijadas-lucks takes us back to the stage in which the way of life of the ancient inhabitants of Sierra Nevada developed.
A clear example is seen with the Luck of Fuente Alta, located 700 meters from the beginning of the trail.
In this place, the visitor can make a stop on the way and enjoy the great views offered by the surrounding forest, at the foothills of the Veleta peak, in a southeast direction.
The route takes place mostly through the dense forest of conifers (wild pines and laricios) of repopulation, being interspersed with open meadows coincident with the site of ancient luck (S. de Zangarria, S. del Tomate, S. del Visuejo, etc.).
