Short-distance path (1,950 m), through which, from the Laguna de las Yeguas we head towards the center of Borreguiles. After having traveled only 300 meters, one of the largest moist grasslands ("borreguiles") at the head of the Dílar River can be seen. Continuing along the path, 500 meters later, we will cross the so-called "Collado de la Laguna", overlooking the Monachil river basin with Borreguiles in the background. This section is, in turn, the boundary between the Sierra Nevada National and Natural Park. In that same divide, also coincident with the boundary of the municipal terms of Monachil and Dílar, we can see the Sierra Nevada Astronomical Observatory and more in the background (700 meters), the Sierra Nevada Radio telescope, with its gigantic antenna 30 meters in diameter.
