Route: Laguna de las Yeguas

This trail is the most affordable of those we propose as the entire route is short (1,185m) and downstream. From the upper station of the Veleta chairlift, the route starts down to the Laguna de las Yeguas, with an average slope of 11%.
As it progresses, you can see the panorama offered by the basin of the head of the Dílar River, bounded in the background by the Collado de Capileira (3,200 m altitude), the Tajos de la Virgen (3,242 m altitude) and the Tozal del Cartujo (3,143 m).
The Lagunillos de la Virgen, located a few meters above the Laguna de las Yeguas, are small lagoons of glacial origin, permanent bodies of water that originate the birth of the Dílar River.
The end of the route allows you to rest next to the Las Yeguas Lagoon. Lagoon of glacial origin (with 330,000 m3 capacity), regrown in the 70s of the last century.

* Minimum 4 people to make the route
