The resort has two mountain ski itineraries: one on the El Aguila Track, in the Cauchiles area and another that runs along the Loma Dilar.

Plano Circuito De Montaña

CONDITIONS OF USE OF CIRCUITS

  • The circuit has as its starting point the lower station of the Virgen de las Nieves chairlift.
  • The climb will always take place on the left upwards and will pass through the perimeter area of the tracks on its North Edge
  • There is no separation between those who go up and down so you have to extreme caution and stay well on the sidelines.
  • In case of group upload, it must be done in a row of one.
  • Particular attention should be paid to those who descend in grade changes.
  • It is necessary to respect the signage and indications of the members of the Ski-patrol Service.
  • The route will be operational for the climb during operating hours, from the opening to the closing of the tracks.

  • The circuit has as its starting point the lower station of the Al-Andalus gondola.
  • The climb will always take place on the right upstream and will pass through the perimeter area of the tracks on its west edge.

  • The Ski-resort operator points to the risk of climbing with mountain skis within the slopes open to the public, as the flow of skiers goes the other way. In the event of a crash, the mountain skier could be exposed to civil or criminal responsibilities as he is responsible for the accident.
  • Likewise, the up or down of closed tracks carries risks of collision with snow-cat machines that prepare the tracks or snowmobiles and for this reason it is prohibited. Special attention should be paid to winch-cat machines with a cable of more than one kilometre in length. The danger of collision with these machines or the cables they use for their work can be deadly, as has been seen in accidents suffered by some people in neighbouring countries.
  • In the event of an accident and if the help of the Ski-patrol Service Service is required, ski patrols will try to help the injured, whenever possible do so without abandoning their responsibility to maintain safety on the slopes. As if the mountain skiers are not customers of the Station, the rescues will be charged at the current rate. Mountain skiers are advised to have insurance like the one offered by the Andalusian Mountaineering Federation.
  • Occasionally, it is possible to organize mountain skiing activities for groups coordinating their program of action with the Ski-patrols Service, through the Borreguiles Control Tower. In this way, the risks arising from the work of the machines can be avoided. In the evening hours, you have to bring the headlamp on, and make use of reflective accessories that allow you to see and, above all, be seen.
  • Mountain skiing is carried out under the sole responsibility of the performer. Cetursa Sierra Nevada expressly disclaims any responsibility in a practice that is not controlled by the purchase of a pass for the use of the Ski resort.
