To begin with, the Visera piste will host the training of the national team and the Nethersands team, who have travelled to Sierra Nevada to take advantage of the good snow conditions in the resort at this time of year.
On the other hand, from the 11th to the 14th of April, there will be a "Training Camp" open to children and adult fans of this sport. All the places have already been filled; a total of 22 people divided into two groups of bachists will be trained by the Olympic champion Walter Wallberg and Oskar Elofsson (World Cup podium). In addition, national skiers Martín Romero, Lorenzo Marín and Enrique Cruz will also give trampoline sessions, primary knowledge, techniques and jump training.
The programme foreseen for these 4 days of camp is as follows:
11th April
10h-12h - First day, technique on the piste, basic concepts.
12:30h-14:30h - Transfer to the bumps.
18:30h - Welcome talk: experiences, tips, approach to the competition. Question and answer session
20:30h - Welcome dinner*.
12th April
10h-12h - Warm-up and jump training.
12:30h-14:00h - Complete descents with jumps.
15:30h-17:30h - Trampoline and video correction.
Day 13
10h-12h - Mogul coaching. Full dips.
12h-14:30h - Mogul coaching. Full dips.
17h-18:30h - Video correction.
Day 14
- Fun farewell competition. The coaches will be the judges
- Podium, afternoon activity and gift raffle.
To round off this week dedicated to moguls, the 9th La Visera Moguls Trophy will be held on the 16th of April, organised by ASOGAF, a non-profit association from Granada dedicated to helping people affected by Friedreich's Ataxia, a rare disease. All proceeds from the registration or sweatshirt of the event will go to the research of this disease.
